Code of Conduct
FOB's Code of Conduct for Birdwatching Birdwatchers anywhere in the world are the greatest friends of nature and actors for conservation of birds. Going to nature, to the environs of birds necessitates some kind of sentiment and responsibility to carry in one's mind by intending to not affect bird life and paying importance to the motto of LIVE and LET LIVE! Therefore birdwatchers should always support and follow the following code of conduct sincerely:
- Respect the birds and their environments you visit.
- Always maintain distance and never disturb the birds by trying to flush them out by throwing any rocks, just because you wish to see them desperately.
- Remember you are in nature; all you need is mere patience to know and see them.
- The bird's habitat should be protected and rare sightings of birds should be informed to the concerned people or organizations.
- National park and wildlife reserve's rules and regulation should be abided by always.
- The feelings and the rights of the people in the countryside should never be disregarded.
- As a responsible visitor and bird lover, you should respect the people and their traditional culture and norms.
- Keep the records of the birds heard or seen, study you findings, and share the information with other interested parties also.

Remember birdwatching and appreciating birds in their natural habitat is the first step of much needed responsibility and action for conservation, truly!
